About The Role
Ailrus Technologies is looking for a Blender Developer Intern interested in 3D modeling, animation, visualization, and interactive digital content. You will work with the team on creating, modifying, and optimizing 3D assets and scenes using Blender, while supporting projects involving modeling, materials, animation, rendering, and 3D workflows.
This internship provides practical exposure to the 3D development pipeline, including asset creation, scene development, rendering, optimization, and collaboration with creative and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create and modify 3D models and assets using Blender based on project requirements.
2. Develop and organize 3D scenes, environments, objects, and visual elements.
3. Apply materials, textures, lighting, and shaders to 3D assets and scenes.
4. Assist in creating and editing 3D animations, camera movements, and scene compositions.
5. Set up and optimize scenes for rendering and visual output.
6. Work with Blender's modifiers, geometry tools, materials, lighting, and rendering workflows.
7. Assist in creating reusable and well-organized 3D assets for ongoing projects.
8. Optimize models, textures, scenes, and other assets for performance and project requirements.
9. Assist with importing, exporting, and managing 3D assets in appropriate file formats.
10. Troubleshoot basic issues related to models, materials, lighting, rendering, and scene setup.
11. Collaborate with designers, developers, and other team members to understand and implement project requirements.
12. Maintain organized project files, assets, scenes, and related documentation.
13. Explore Blender features, workflows, and relevant 3D techniques to improve project outputs.
14. Support assigned 3D development and visualization projects based on organizational requirements.
Requirements
1. Basic to working knowledge of Blender and its interface.
2. Understanding of fundamental 3D modeling concepts.
3. Familiarity with materials, textures, lighting, and rendering.
4. Basic understanding of 3D animation and scene composition.
5. Familiarity with Blender modifiers and common 3D workflows.
6. Understanding of basic concepts such as vertices, edges, faces, topology, UV mapping, and meshes.
7. Ability to work with common 3D file formats and asset workflows.
8. Basic understanding of rendering and scene optimization concepts.
9. Good visual and problem-solving abilities.
10. Attention to detail and ability to maintain organized project files.
11. Ability to understand design and technical requirements and implement them in Blender.
12. Good communication and collaboration skills.
13. A portfolio, academic project, or personal 3D work created using Blender is an advantage.
14. Strong willingness to learn new 3D techniques, tools, and workflows.
