About The Role
As a Data Analyst Intern at Ailrus Technologies, you will gain practical experience working with data and supporting analytical projects across different business requirements. The role involves working through different stages of the data analysis process, from collecting and preparing data to analyzing information, creating visualizations, and communicating findings.
You may work with different datasets and analytical tools depending on the project, while collaborating with team members to support data-driven solutions and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in collecting, cleaning, organizing, validating, and preprocessing data from various sources.
2. Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and meaningful insights.
3. Analyze structured and unstructured datasets using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, and Power BI.
4. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar tools.
5. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented SQL queries and analytical scripts.
6. Support descriptive and predictive analytical activities, including developing and testing analytical models where required.
7. Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to understand project and business requirements.
8. Assist in translating analytical findings into clear reports and actionable insights.
9. Support data quality, database, and analytical workflows as required by projects.
10. Document analytical processes, findings, reports, and project outputs.
11. Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives through data analysis.
Requirements
1. Basic to working knowledge of Data Analytics and Data Visualization.
2. Familiarity with SQL and data querying.
3. Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
5. Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
6. Understanding of data cleaning, preprocessing, validation, and Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
7. Basic understanding of databases and data management concepts.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
9. Good communication and collaboration skills.
10. Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and analytical techniques.
11. Academic, personal, or portfolio projects in data analytics will be an advantage.
